I recently designed the announcement for a group show in Berlin titled Born to Die: Art and Artifact (curated by Jay Henderson). The show consisted of works by over 40+ artists that would ultimately end up as the basis for a new body of work. Upon conclusion of the group show the pieces were absorbed, manipulated, discarded, destroyed and reinvented by Jay to form the work for his solo exhibit, titled Every Artist Thinks They Make Gold. Accordingly, my announcement was also taken by Jay and re-purposed into the announcement for his solo show.
